I bought an rc40 full stainless exhaust system before I decided to buy engine and go the turbo route, I understand the turbo down pipe is 2", so the question is would there be any loss or problems if I were to fit a reducer from the down pipe to the centre section and still use or best to buy a complete system as the rc40 system I have is 1.75"

Many thanks

I believe with the lcb y piece the 1.75 system fits inside the y and the 2" systems fit over the y.. so you maybe alright when it comes to fitting it?

I won't be using the y piece just the centre section and back box?
Is there an issue going from 2" down pipe to 1.75? Centre and back box?
I can't see it but I'm a newbie with this turbo engine etc,

What are you trying to achieve?

A balls out 200bhp monster?

or, a mid-boost road useable turbo motor?

At 10 to 12psi boost I can't see that the smaller exhaust will have any real effect on power.

Beyond that there may be an advantage.

On my Nimbus I have a 2" system with a 1.75" RC40 silencer bodged in the middle (it was free). It makes plenty of power and is not to noisy to boot!

Standard engine, I just down want to restrict it from its standard power at all,

I meant it should be ok as fits the y so should be ok on the downpipe, my back box is 1.75
