anyone using a alternative forged piston choice other than plus 20 ? There seems to be shorter market With a suitable dish size ?
The only ones that I've come across is the isas forged Pistons.
Has anyone had experience with the above make ?

I'm not sure that Omega still stock Accralites. These were available with 18cc dish in lots of sizes.

If not I'm sure omega do an alternative.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

Omega/accuralite only do plus 20 in 18cc on the shelf but They would do other size at a large pop for one offs as I enquired for some 1380 18cc onesbut there just to expensive in my book
But I'm not after that much of dish around 10cc would be fine I've been looking at some forged isas ones from minispeed just wondering what there like seem well priced but are they going to be chocolate or not

Ah. That's annoying. When I built mine you could still get the bigger dish in all overbore sizes.

I'd considered these, as they come in 73mm. Seemed to weigh a ton when I picked one up though.

Johnny, no no no. I removed a set of new ones from an engine what was smoking badley. A new build and the piston skirts was oval by 0.020" and the ring lands had cracked the engine only did 20 miles,

I fitted omegas job done, those pistons I would not put in a concrete. Mixer engine.

med they trying to sell me the plus 20 forged
the alternative was the cast omega plus 40 but they didt know if they had in stock or not
