So i saw this one on a belgian site
Short translated it has about 100000 miles on the clock.
Some bottem rust
Claimed to have a 5 speed?

Asking about 2500 euro ( 1800 pounds about)
What are your thoughts?
Do like the look.

you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
i rather blow it up winning than keep it together losing.

finish date set for project 1... march 2018

It will all come down to how much welding it needs i suppose.

I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to knowing the metros but will no doubt pick it up quickly with the new project....but would make the following comments:

1) its a mk1 - good
2) wheels are off a later car - depends if you want to make it original or not
3) interior looks like it is out the later car too- again, depends if you want it standard.
4) you'll know the general thoughts on a used turbo engine. Is the car running?

As for value, these are getting rare (well they are in the U.K.) so prices will rise in the next few years. Price is probably at the high end of a project car but, agsin, deoends on what it needs.

Haggle a bit and go for it! Would be good to see another on the forum!

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

Suspension is very low. If the displacers are fucked, you will struggle to get replacements.

As long as the diaphragm isn't split I think someone on MOC refurbishes them now and recharges the nitrogen portion.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Yeh. They charge a fortune for them too. Easy to do yourself if you can get some nitrogen (or just stick air in them! I'm not convinced it will make that much of a difference.)

Getting nitrogen isn't a problem here. For some reason you can get it in the local welding shop.

It's easy to get anywhere :).

It's inert so is used to purge inside pipes etc.
