I have got a slight problem with the min 1275 turbo not starting though. It's something that was happening before earlier this year after I fitted the mega jolt set up but seem to go away and now it's back I could do with getting to the bottom of it as I can't use it. It starts up fine cold but when it starts to get warm it dies and then only seems to fire 3 or 2 cylinders and not start at all. I checked the plugs they all appear to be sparking. Two of the plugs are wet and two are dry🤔
I unplugged the ecu to check its nothing to do with the map but it makes no difference.

Any thing spring to mind chaps?

Many thanks

Dorking

I would imagine either EDIS unit or Coil pack.

I have spares of both if you want to try them, in dorking.

Hi Jonny,

Yeah that was my thoughts too. I've actually got a spare of each and it makes no difference. But who's to say they are working correctly!

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Okay checked all of the above. The only thing I'm slightly concerned about is the air gap. What should it be? I've measured mine and its 1.3mm.

Normally specified at 0.5 -1.0mm so may be your problem.

Altered the crank sensor bracket so the gap is now 1mm and it runs like a dream!

Thanks chaps for all your help
