On my standard 1275 exhaust keeps leaking on the clamp exhaust downpipe to manifold it's standard cast manifold with 1 outlet. The downpipe not sure if its off a 998 or are they all the same diameter around the neck? The clamp I have seems a bit slack, but the other type for the 998 won't fit, is it a case of just putting exhaust paste round it or is there any ways of getting clamp tighter or something cheers |

If it's got putty on it already, this could be the problem. Take it off clean all the putty off both parts and then reassemble with some good quality stuff.

You could always apply a bit of pressure in the form of a trolley jack to seat it while you are doing the clamp up. |
