Well I have built a Rts clutch and quite concerned on the clutch cover. the cover was a few mm of the inner housing enough to tightened the bolt to start them and then tight them with a socket to pull it in but I feel it's a lot of force would it maybe be because of the springs ? The cover slid on when I took the trust cup out
The pedal is hard but I'm sure that will feel better after a while nothing is fowling bolt wise turns over freely by hand

The aluminium clutch cover shouldn't sit proud. If you have to tighten it against the spring, the clutch will never fully disenguage engage.

Did you use Valeo or AP parts? Have you got another flywheel and clutch to measure and test against?

Both are ap parts I have another flywheel and clutch somewhere seems abit strange to be honest also checked the bolt see if they were pushing the back but they are not

You've got something wrong there.

Did you try the cover on before fitting the clutch?

Yes it's fits fine
problem when the sleeve is on it pushing it outs so something is on the large side
Just don't know what yet can't really see the flywheel being massively different size only thing that Spring to mind the middle but of the diaphragm being to big

Can we get some half decent grammar with that? Lol.

Do you have a picture of your assembled clutch?
What angle are the springs at with it all assembled?

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

The 'plunger' you link to is in fact tge thrust sleave.

Its dificult to get any perspective on the problem you are experiencing.

Without pictures of all the parts you are using and how they have been put together any further suggestions will be fruitless. It could be anything. If yiu cant see the problem with the parts infront of you, then, without pictures, neither can we...... post up some good pictures *wink*

Get a photo of tips of springs' fingers. I tried a few springs together and although they were all valeo, some pairs didn't fit that closely together
