Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

dood.

dont waste your money

if the primary gear is ok then stick with it
if not.......... get a new one

but..... if not and its nacked & you have access to a press you could always save a few quid by buying one and doing it yourself*wink*

but............
Straight cut drops are the way to go

for these get a price equivalent from MED engineering as mini spares have none in for a month!

ask for lee

& for the idler gear with the timkin roller in expensive some 170 quid just for the idler but worth it if you are going to go for future power increases.

I was having massive problems with the stock bush in my mini. Any kind of aggressive launching on the strip or road (using the clutch to feed in the power) usually resulted in a permanently engaged clutch. Either the bush would walk out, taking up the end float, or it'd 'gum up'.
I had this happen to me seven times in 12 months (once at the 2000 or 2001 showdown aswell - but i still drove it home*wink*).
I tried almost everything, even running silly axial clearances, also loctite, but it still happened. One thing I didn't do was try tack welding it in place - which might have worked.*surprised*

Anyway - I Fitted this 'new' bush, and I've never had the problem since. The difference was night and day it was so obvious.
My advice - If it's new and installed, leave it. First sign of trouble, fit the fully floating one.

Make sure you do drill lots of holes in your clutch cover (wok) and transfer case above the friction plate to let hot air out and give your current one a fighting chance!
