Hi all,
Just bought a minispares 1.5 roller tip rockers that was used by the previous guy for 170 miles.
As I took it apart for inspection although the rockers are perfect the shaft has quite a bit of wear.
In my opinion that is unacceptable, what do you guys think?

Its either done a lot more than 170 miles or the rockers had no oil to them, easy to assemble them poorly or have the grub screw come loose. Invest in another rocker shaft, i don't think they're too expensive.

See it on Minisport rockers before now. The top end sounded like a bag of lose nails in a washing machine.

I'd replace the bushes too if they are not 'roller' rockers but rather roller 'tipped rockers'

Thanks for the answers,
They are roller tip rockers, the bushes are perfect and the guy swears they only did 170 miles with plenty of oil going through them.
I'll invest in a new shaft which one though the original one or the minispares updated one?
