Good evening guys, I have been trying to get my head around flow maps etc but not having much luck, I am building a 1.8t/vvc hybrid (1.8 turbo bottom end and vvc head). Now I am looking for a turbo which is good for up to 250bhp but at a realitivly low psi not going above 15psi

I was also wondering if it were possible to do a gt2052 hot side with a gt2560 cold side? anything is possible, i spoke with one about creating a bb gt2056 with larger compressor, although i wouldnt bother with a hybrid when there are countless brands and models of turbos in the 250bhp capable catagory Yes i moved to the darkside |

I know about the liners but pistons will fail before them, I just want to see what it can do on a very small budget. The thing with the gt28 I was thinking it may take a while to spool as it's only a 1.8 Drives

they run twin gt28s on RBs, effectively 1.3l per turbo, they are considered the most responsive way to make 600bhp

200sx (sr20det) t28 spooled on my 1.4 at 4500 or so k rpm. The toller bearing variant should spool sooner (s15 silvia). The pulsar t28 spooled at 5k. All were perfectly useable, given your increased capacity and head flow youd probably spool one just fine, pulsar turbos are fairly cheap and easy come by. turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

They run the GT28 on R5s and they seem to spool fine too. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

GT2560R, it will spool up quickly lower in the rev range, you will need more than 15psi, but more driveable in the real world than something that doesn't spin up till 5k rpm.
