Could make your own night-rider dash.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Im not sure of the dimensions but maybe a steering wheel mounted dash system! Could have the mounts laser cut from ally that integrated into the steering boss. Only problem then is wires.

Would probably work well for something a bit more modern with a proper enclosed instrument cluster with an engine conversion, new digital innards to the original binnacle.

Not that particular make but I am using similar 7 segment multi digit LED displays for all my AFR and LSU temperature displays, and intend to extend my setup to use them for things like oil presure and water temperature.

Personal opinion, but I think the "digital" displays are great - and a lot more compact provided they aren't stuck in a space wasting 52mm round enclosure like lots of manufacturers do - but only for certain things.
I would still stick with an old fashioned moving "needle on dial" for speed and RPM.
Granted they can be mimiced on a full LCD/LED display panel but I don't think rows of LEDs in a circle is anywhere near as good.

That kit does seem a bit pricey for what you get, especially as it isn't new ("re-manufactured" reads "second hand" to me) but obviously the price isn't helped by the postage, import duty and the current exchange rate.

Also it looks like imperial readings only, no mention of being able to swap to metric. Whilst I could probably live with oil pressure in PSI I simply couldn't deal with any temperature in Farenheight.

But, like I said, personal opinion.

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???

You'll need to modify a rotary coupler to fit. Get one from a car with steering wheel controls.
