Don't know how many members are around the Leicester area But I'm sure someone can point me in the right direction
Need to start having some bits done any machine shop in my area that are decent ?
Or is it going to be the case I've got to send the parts away

Just go to MED.

After having basic jobs messed up by other shops I'll only go to someone who machines 'A series' all day long.

Yes med are my way about 30mins or so
I know welham is closer who said they did all there machining beforehand don't know if they still do or not but went in to welham beginning of the week and there just stacked out and can't even look at other jobs for weeks

And exactly Philr my last shop that I used well it was generally fit for time scrap until I had it redone Was a rather a expensive engine

Welham are good. We use them at work quite a lot. And like you say they used to do MED maching. MED are now in Hinckley, I never really got on with them very well.

I personally use Southam mini/metro centre. All maching is done in house. And customer service is fantastic!

Southam... Not had any machining done there, but I've used them plenty for rolling road time and seen what they do. Another vote for them, might take my stuff there when I get round to it.

I may leave it a couple of weeks and let welham do it as there only 10mins away.

A little update welham will be helping from next week some point so all good
Now the only question is rods not to sure which way I'm going to go
