This seemed simple to make compared to the one I previously had from tom. Will this work in its current position.

thanks brett, this clarified what I already thought as my missing tooth is at the top, so my vr needs to be higher up by three teeth or 30 degrees.

Count the degrees and Change the 'trigger before TDC' setting. You might find its something like 135 degrees

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

er go on then?
the pic shows where the sensor is, so it depends on where the missing tooth is ( both relation to the sensor and tdc )

First mistake is assuming everyone is using megajolt. There is enough evidence in the picture to make the assumption that the management system is something other than megajolt *wink*

Yes, its in primary trigger settings.

Ultimately, when your ready to start the engine, one of the first things to do before putting fuel through it is check that the trigger is in the right place. This is a simple test on cranking with the crank advance set to 0 degrees with a TDC marker and a timing light. Adjust where the ecu fires the spark at TDC by changing the 'trigger before TDC' value.

Ok so i just checked the max value you can use, which is 127.5 degrees.

Is this is much of a problem for you, i have a pulley sat here i will never use that has an adjustable trigger wheel on it.
