Does the exhaust need to be of a larger diameter for a turbo charged engine than a na one? i.e. the recommended exhaust size for a 998cc engine is no more than 1.75" diameter - does this apply to a turbo also, or would a 2" system be better? |

2" + for turbo all the way. the turbo will do the silencing. less back pressure the better |

The bigger, after the turbo, the better. You want the best pressure differential possible. I ran my turbo with no exhaust, and it actually sounded pretty sweet! Check it out in my first installment (bottom of the page) under www.drjing.com
