well here are some pics of the turbo ive aquired, still unsure if its a T2 or a T25 on the actual turbo itself it says:

B.C.1 M10 A/R.48 then garret and in a circle after garret says 92.

because of the positioning and wear of the label on it i cant fully read the numbers but the 1's ive managed to get are this:

27700853265

here are some piccys ive taken sorry bout the poor quality.

so can any1 tell me if this is a T2 or T25?
also any ideas what it is off?

thanx

You shouldn't concern yourself with weither it's a T2 or T25, instead it is the suitability for your engine that will determine this...

So the turbine is a 0.41 AR - well that's good at least.

What was it off?

The T25's I have seen have got 5 bolt outlet flanges so I guess its not one of them. Just for reference, some IHI turbos (punto turbo) very similar outlet but not exactly, but look to have a slightly smaller exhaust and compressor housings, I have no tech info on them so just by eye.

not sure what its off, a friend bought it originally for his car but found it was too small. and went and bought a pulsar engine instead.
the guy he bought it from was not sure what it was off.

It looks very different from my T25.

My turbo is different within the exhaust housing (my wastegate isnt separated like that)

My compressor housing is different - as i cannot put silicone tube strait onto it, i have had to have another pipe made up.

AR wise it will be fine, just fit it and stop worrying!

Near Lincoln

might be a one of the newer gt-series of turbo's

measure the turbine inlet and compare to this to see if its a t-series
