imo the single best think you can do for the A series is bin the dizzy and fit some sort of distributor less ignition such as Megajolt ( mjlj ) Edited by Brett on 19th Feb, 2016. Yes i moved to the darkside |

You could modify a standard dizzy so that it doesn't advance (fix the weights) but its a right bodge. Megajolt is the way to go for a budget build. |

There is no alternative from the BL range of dizzies.
Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph
