fitted a mg metro turbo into my mini , having probs with starter
turn key to start and i have to run round to the frunt conect the live (i think) for the starter to turn once sratred i have to disconect the wire again due to the wire over heating can any one help chears

Wire overheating sounds like an earthing problem, have you checked all required earthing points?

If you using a metro starter(with soliniod on top) you don't need the one on the inner wing

More details on what wire you have put where or a pic

chears turbo rich my loom looks like its been through a mincer and im gragerly getting through it i do beleave all the earth are in place

Dangerous it is the metro starter ive got on im unsure about the wirring but i think i know what u mean i have got this far and im not giveing up now any moreinfo would be great andy
