I've currently got 8mm OD feed, and 6mm OD return lines. Is this OK for a turbo setup?

the return should in theory be larger than the feed, although some have the same size.

Personally i'm running 8mm OD supply and 10mm OD return

Not that I disagree, but why would the return be larger than the feed? Surely it will always be flowing less than the supply will?

it is to ensure there is no pressure build-up that could affect the performance of the regulator

Same size for both will be fine. I wouldnt do big feed small return for the reasons Rob says.

Unless lines are too small to begin with, dont think there's any need to do return bigger than feed.

I ran mine like that years ago and it worked fine but it's not ideal.

10mm is OTT in my opinon. 8mm is more than enough.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Warwick.

Are people talking about 8mm OD?

If so, what diam' braided fuel lines are people using?
Fuel tanks I have been looking at have -6 AN threaded inserts fitted, but this being 9.5mm is a lot larger than what most people here are running.

I've just done mine.
I used 8mm (od) copper fuel pipe and 8mm (id) braided hose.
The mpi tank has 8mm feed and return as does the fuel filter I'm using and the fuel regulator. The carb is 6mm feed, so I can't see it being too restrictive...time will tell I suposse.

Tube is usually measured in OD while hose is measured on ID

Pipe is another ball game altogether lol

7mm feed and return on mine (Because someone at Rover thought it would be a great idea to make the SPI with an odd-ball size).

At 15 psi, flow rate is enough for 250bhp.
