Just bought a set of these, after needing to change out mine for the second time already with split boots.

How well will they sit in a tapered hole though - or will you need to drill that out to a parallel one? |

You need to drill them out and then bolt them up against a spacer.

They are quite expensive for a set of rod ends. Then decent rod ends aren't far off the price.
