I have what I believe are Metro drive flanges, Vented discs and 4pot vented callipers but it's not lining up with out putting some kind of spacer in to move the calliper inward, is there a drive flange for vented discs? Or am I just missing something?

I said I'd do it, there's no need to remind me every 6 months!!

If you have to move the calipers inwards then i believe you have mini drive flanges

I coverd it abit in my build thread i think when i built my big brake kit

The metro drive flanges push the disc away from the hub by aprox 1/4 inch
So based on that if you have to pull the calipers in the wrong flanges are fitted

Actually what discs and calipers?
Mini sport do a vented disc that fits on mini drive flanges but they are for there ally calipers

If all metro vented then see above

They are defiantly Metro Flanges as they have to locating lugs on them, I ordered Metro vented discs from Mini sport I'm just hoping they haven't shipped me the wrong ones!

Is it the metro calipers though or aftermarket alloy ones?

They look like the Metro Callipers not the alloy aftermarket ones. Will add some pictures tomorrow

The metro originally had solid discs, perhaps the flanges you have are for solid discs

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Anyone able to measure the thickness of a drive flange that is working with the 4 pot vented metro set up?

I've come across this before you must have early minisport alloy calipers, and you have ordered there disks for the 4pot brakes, order a pair of standard metro disks. And all will be good, minisport machine abit off the face that touches the drive flange on there alloy caliper disks

Haven't got measurements, but I had the same problem when I fitted mine years ago. Turns out I'd bought Metro solid disk drive flanges.

Have a look at my old thread - has plenty of pics:

I'm thinking the most likely outcome is that I have Metro solid disc drive flanges instead of Vented ones, if someone has the chance to measure this at the weekend it would be greatly appreciated, I've tried searching for size info for any of them on the net to no avail

leeds/wakefield.

if mini flanges you need mini disks , metro flanges need metro disks

no difference between vented and non vented flanges for metro
