Still carrying on with my monster clearout!

I have a shell that i'm getting rid off. Overall its very good having had some work in about 2000.



Better description on ebay and loads of pics available to email. Please only ask for them if you are genuinely interested as i dont have much time to do this

It only needs some welding finishing off to complete.

Its had a repair done to the rear quarter but im sure with some dressing it will look fine.

Also needs a bit more welding to the inner sill and door step repairs for an mot pass plus a bit more on a sill.

Also the front end has been cut off in front of the a-panels and shock mounts to get ready for a flip front.

Apart from that its very good bar a little bubbling on the a's.

Wouldnt take much work to make this good again. It will be fully stripped, may leave some bits on and i have a front subby that can go with it plus other bits will be negotiable at very cheap prices.

I do have some front floor pans (was going to change them as they've had a couple of patches) and also an inner sill that i may let go with it for beer tokens

It just needs to go asap as i have no room to move.

No V5 though but these are easy enough to come by

Basically a shell more solid than most by a long way that needs maybe a weekends work to be sorted.





Obviously it will be more stripped than this but you get the idea of condition.

Ill try get a few pics over the weekend but show your interest otherwise its going on ebay and then it wont be free

It certainly isnt bad at all. I was definately repairing it until the mig shell came along.

Scuttles/windscreen etc is all very good.

Paints good too.

Its got a perfect black headinling in, like new as well. Not be taking that out!!

can you put the free 998 engine in it and drive it around to me? also leave the split rims on there

if you change your mind about removing the headlining, i'd be very interested in it..... im after a black one, but dont like new prices!! :)

also, any news on them brake hoses?? (sorry should pm really, but hey!)

Im not letting it go for free with all the new s brakes, MB's, minifins etc

But apart from bolting bits up its a good shell.

There isnt much needs doing to the shell to make it road worthy no. I had it mot'd just before i took it off the road and then did some work on it. It would probably take about a day of messing about to finish it off. (plus the flip front sorting obviously )

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, im afraid im not going to be able to have the shell, were half way through selling our house at the mo and until we do ive got nowhere to put one, the house were wanting to buy has a 40ft workshop on the back which i was going to build it up in but as we havent sold ours my plans are kinda stuck at the mo

ok can you list exactly what does come with it, where u are, etc. by brother in law has passed his test and was thinking of doing a project you say bare shell, would that be a rolling / not rolling shell no glass or electrics ?

lol jim, i hear what ya saying, free is always sweet but, free is no good if you are going to spend more on bits needed where as you can get a half decent mini with v5 which may work out less in the long run, i think thats why peeps and moi are asking exactly what comes with it the lack of v5 is a shame Iain could put this on ebay with a v5 as a rolling shell and could get a bit cash with it, but without, its a bit harder, i did this with mine luckily for me my job alows me to check things out about cars ie are they nicked or have been in the past etc etc. but most peeps cant do this (IAIN AM NOT SAYING ITS NICKED BY THE WAY MATE :) ) PS Jim dunno about the rosmary roof tiles but i got S**T loads of new house bricks, a kiddies paddling pool in blue, loads of weedds and a rotten old stair carpet, are they any good
