Probably an odd question , my water temps while ragging it around the track last week were no more than 65 deg !. Normal driving and its in the 50's .

Car has an electric water pump and blanking sleve , alloy front mout rad and headder tank .

Can the temps be too cold or is it more than ok to keep it as is ??

As soon as you slow down the temps rise and sat ticking over for 5 mins there up at 80+

No oil temp im afraid but you couldnt touch the oil cooler so i gather thats hot enough to work properly

Can't you control the temperature by regulating the waterpump rpm or on/off cycles? (do you have a controller fitted?)

Dazed and Confused....

Rick, you just need to drill a couple of holes in the rim of the stat to allow water to circulate a bit until the thermostat opens up.

You could do the old trick of covering up some of the rad.

Or get a controller for the waterpump.
