Is it meant to be notched? Might be worth adding a slight notch with a dremel or thin cutting disc to stop it sliding up. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

there is a notch. the circlip fits it but it just gets pushed up!

I had this - I think the grooves are spot on when cut, but then the stick is chromed and they end up not deep enough. It was actually the bottom one that kept coming adrift on mine.

Yep. If the circlip gets pushed up theres something wrong with it or the groove. |
