You could strip it and see what is wrong, but mostly it is not worth the hassle. Just get a new one. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

Was going to take it apart but didn't have time. Thought I'd ask as I've just done a quick search online for a new one and there all in the states! My build thread..

Strip it down 9/10 times some new brushes (ebay dimentions) and sanding the slipring and bronze bushings gets old dc motors servicable again. I do this on odd occation to help customers when parts avaliability is poor or horrifically priced. Usually not worth the bother but sometimes it is. turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)
