Already have MS2 V3.0, start to build it many moons ago and now I'm king of lost, I start the build to use whit edis because I already have it from megajolt configuration, but now I thinking on change to direct coil, the engine its a k1200 conversion and probably will stick whit the ford coil.

Direct coil for keep it simple and its just MS, less wiring to do and on the car.

Is there any vantage to use edis beside not running hi current inside MS2

What do you guys use/ recommend??

Personally I see no advantage in using an EDIS module if you have an MS2or3.

The Ford wasted spark coilpack is fine by itself just driven by two ignitors inside an MS2or3.

Obviously you have to build the board accordingly in terms of place on the heatsink and choose which pins to take the coilpack wires out through (or add an extra connector) but I just can't see the point of an EDIS module when the MS2-E code upwards will drive coilpacks, COP and pretty much everything else without the need for a very dated external box from Ford.

No offence intended to all the people on the forum who use MJ sucessfully but the EDIS part of it is well past its sell by date.

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???
