Hi guys,

Have spent several evenings over this and now at a bit of a loss. I have a freshly built 1380 with the K1100 head that I am wiring up to a Microsquirt V3 ECU. All sensors for IAT, CLT, Wideband O2, battery, TPS etc are happy. The ignition is being run by an EDIS 4 module. When cranking the engine I get a good spark at the plugs so the VR sensor and coil etc are all ok. Problem I have is no reading of the rpm at the ecu when I plug my laptop in. When I first tried cranking I got a few random jumps from the rev counter, at which point I realised I had the PIP and SAW connected up backwards. Since then though nothing I do seems to get a reading but the plugs are still sparking away happily.

All and any help greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Which firmware are you using: the B&G firmware or the MS2/Extra? I recommend that latter.

Also, how have you connected the PIP and SAW to your Microsquirt? Follow the instructions in the msextra manuals: http://www.msextra.com/doc/pdf/html/Micros...are-3.4-87.html
