Hi all

My plan is to put a Toyota 1.6 20V engine a my 1968 panel van which I bought with no engine. the rear panels have been cut as well and there a bit of rust that need to be repaired. The project is on hold till I can get mu 1978 Vandenplas complete for a show at the end of July.

nice. Not sure about SA but over here the vans used to get sold with a dealer fit rear window kit to circumvent purchase tax which was less on a commercial. might explain the rear panels.

Is that the 4age throttle bodied engine? If so that's what's in my daily car, a 96 corolla trueno ae111 :). Nice revvy engine, make good power
