Opening rear quarter window catch's ? / non gen clubman wings

Evening all , first up we have a customers car in and he has bought new opening rear window mechanisms as the old ones are worn and rattle ! Now it looks like the whole chrome around the window needs splitting somehow to replace them , has anyone had any experiance with them .

Secondly , im looking for a drivers non gen clubman front wing !! Minispares etc dont seam to sell them , and ive tried magnum , euro car parts , imperial parts etc

They have tiny screw on one side and a rivett on the other.. just undo the screw, didnt realise you could buy these new tho?

Also i only thought u could get clubby wings genuine

Seen the serew and rivet but seams like it will bent the chrome surround ! Im gathering it will just be tight due to never being removed?

Theyll be some sort of sealant in there too? When ive done them once the screws out it pops away.. where are frames new?

as Dave said, the window surrounds come apart when you remove the grub screw. I removed the glass from mine to paint the frames black. There is a rubber seal between the glass and frame if I recall right which was quick rigid (I assume it was just old) which took a bit of persuasion to separate.

As for the wings, I've got a couple of clubman wings in stock. They have a bit of surface rust on them from storage but they have never been fitted. I could probably get down to the shed tonight and get you some photos

you'll probably find when you remove the little screw that they will ping open.

or at least mine did..
