Hi Guys,

Do anyone of you know which thread is used on the banjobolt that connects to the banjo and the T-piece?
I believe I got this from Avonbar many years ago but the thread only screws half a cm in the block and is now *&%(@%#$

It did fit but I overtightened the banjobolt to keep the copper washers from leaking which was not a good idea as the banjobolt was only 3 windings into the block.

New plan: get myself a standard oil T piece with a male 1/8npt and 2x female 1/8npt and tap and drill an extra M10 x 1 for a standard M10x1 banjobolt for the oil feed.

If it's the sender thread I believe it's 1/8 npt, probably not a good idea with a banjo fitting.

I'm no expert with turbo pluming but wouldn't the oil take off be better after the filter? Either sandwich plate between the filter head and block or off the top of the filter head itself?

I agree, but I didnot give it much thought as I bought it from a specialist.... *Confused*

I am gonna change it using a std T piece which has the correct thread for the block. It has also 2x female 1/8 npt which will fit the mechanical oil pressure gauge and oil pressure warning sensor and I make an extra M10x1.5 hole to fit a banjobolt for the oil feed.
