Please can someone humour me for a second with this trivial question.

I'd say so, to be sure, drop the battery connections on then touch the ring terminal off the starter to the battery post and see if it jumps into life. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

Lose the fly lead. Connect the solenoid trigger wire on your loom onto the starter spade terminal. Main battery lead on to the big terminal and you're done. |
