Please can someone humour me for a second with this trivial question.

I am guessing that the white bit on the back is the trigger where i put the spade connector too from my loom, the rest go on the bolt? Ignore it has 2 ends i assume that is like that for remote solenoid?

I'd say so, to be sure, drop the battery connections on then touch the ring terminal off the starter to the battery post and see if it jumps into life.

Lose the fly lead. Connect the solenoid trigger wire on your loom onto the starter spade terminal. Main battery lead on to the big terminal and you're done.
