hi can anyone recomend a good clutch for me to buy for my project. speed is the best rush i have ever had!!!

With a 100 Bhp at the wheels go for APracing Rally Plate and Orange Dia.

Agree with above, only comment I would add is that I would NOT use a grey diaphram on an old/unknown engine, as it would most likely very quickly finish off the thrust washers.

the spec for then engine im hoping will hit around 180 bananas with alot of money/ time and effort put into it.

I'm using a double grey with a padle clutch, it's not much fun on the road, but it doesn't slip! Will be doing combe twice this month, and a rolling road (which I always get slip at) I'll let you know how I get on.

right cheers jimster, whats it like for using on hills lol? do u litteraly have to rev to bout 3000 and let off the clutch? speed is the best rush i have ever had!!!

i wonder how dave is going on with configuring the clutch which would be easy on the foot & kind on the thrust washers

sadly this has been lacking in a high power A series engine. as massive power outputs with turbos is now challanging the old N/A competition clutches. Ben, Progress has been lame. Work keeps getting in the way of fun.
