Does anyone know if a standard HIF44 or KIF44 can be modified to run a blow through setup.

Well the HIF38 / HIF44 can be adapted, but don't know what a KIF is...

Anyone? *oh well*

the kif is the later carb used on the post 90 rover's carb k series, it seem to be difficult to adapt on a mini, as his inlet is very different and uncommun it is also a more complicated carb,
as Dave said any hif can be converted easily, seal the dashpot face with engine sealant, reverse the butterfly seals , don't forget to use a stronger spring and the good needle, about the leaning device system you shouldn't bother with this as it's better without, I also like to pressurise the fuell using the vapors pipe, because it give a better signal to the carb.

Its far far easier to get a turbo HIF than to convert one, that way if you have any toubles you don't need to suspect the carb conversion itself...

Turbo a-series are tricky enough as they are with making extra work for yourself.

They can even be brought new for the ultimate in peace of mind!
