Good evening

I've brought a turbo from a Rover 220 tdi it's a GT1549


Has anyone fitted one of these and do you have pictures

Or have I brought the wrong turbo.

Surprisingly good little turbos on the diesel engine.

It's very common in the later engine (45/25/ZR/ZS) to run bigger injectors, more boost and a remap with the standard turbo.

Common settings are 20psi and 160bhp/260lb/ft. At this point the turbo is the restriction. They've been running then this way for years and I've never heard of a blown turbo ever.

How that compares to a petrol engine I'm not sure though.

1994 Mini Mayfair, 1330, Mspd Ph2 cam, Benross turbo head, 9:1, GT1752, TT Intercooler, MegaJolt, BMW M3 leather seats.

Can I change the exhaust housing on this? Got a feeling it's not gonna clean a mini bulk head well as it's massive?
