Advice wanted. Turboed 1310 using standard metro t3 setup still on 4 psi. Using megajolt with standard metro turbo map on it.
Mini sits and idles fine and afr reads 13.9 - 14.6 and revs freely with no load. When trying to pull away mini bogs down and afr goes round to 18 or 19. Only way it will pull away is to rev it high and then it will be OK but then leans out after a very short time. I'm not sure where to look for the problem or what it could be.
Thanks in advance

My sister is so fit I won't show anyone her picture

Is it a new build or has it just developed this ?
Is the lean off pipe split ? Oil in dashpot ? Fuel pressure rising with boost ?

Phil.

Hi. It has developed after parking it up for winter. Fuel pressure is set and is rising on boost. Checked oil level in dash pot and all was good. Someone else has suggested clamping the Lean off pipe so I'm going to try that

Just went and clamped off that hose and drove it round the yard where my unit is. It's now pulling away but does lean out a little bit to 15- 16 on afr but wasn't fully warmed up. Once moving it's fine and reads what it should on the afr and boosts well as well.

Mine leans off when setting off with low revs then returns to around 13.

Perfect when doing emergency starts from stand still.

What the mind can conceive the mini can achieve
MITP 2012 17.01 seconds 1/4 mile against "The Don"
MITP 2013 16.83 seconds 1/4 mile
