I found out about them from a fella with a 9-second (80's generation) mustang, running a turbocharged pinto engine, whilst at the drag strip on Friday (I was doing more v8 muscle car killing - but only running 13.9's *frown*)

i take it you'll be paying a visit even if its to check out what they experience is of the a-series is?

13.9 on the same damaged turbo i've been tunning for the past year (16psi max boost, even when disconencting the actuator hose)...

Hopefully, when i strip the lot down over winter, I'll find the turbine housing is indeed damaged. This will hopefully also mean 'more' power everywhere, as the turbine is clearly by-passing a lot of usefull gasses straight through the wastegate...

Oh, regarding fuel, the calorific value appears to be pretty similar, but the knock resistance is a lot more, which basically means there might be potential for playing with the ignition timing - but this won't neccesarilly give any more power*oh well*

Ben - It gets a lot of attention, as you can imagine.
