I'm not sure if this is the right place to post such question.

Anyways, who do you guys suggest as a machinist to fully work a crankshaft ? The prblem is that then it would need to be shipped to Malta.

Thanks in Advance,
Carl

Try Carl at Force Racing. He's on here to.

Is there nowhere in Malta that can do it ? There is some seriously impressive work goes on there !

Yeah I know, some folks really do know their job here, but the lead time is never ending. Last engine block I had rebored took over a year to be done.

Fair point...although anywhere good in the UK.. I imagine would be very busy too.

If Carl can't help, the likes of Swiftune ? MED ? Specialist Components ? KAD ? Avonbar ?
They'd be some of the bigger names.

Would cost of buying an already worked crank outright not be an option ?

Would save some postage and remove any lead times....although looking at some new steel crank prices.. WOW, they are insane.
Someone needs to get somewhere in China to start making those little cranks and bring the price down.

At least original cranks seem to be sensible money.

As for fully worked...just how much work did you want or need done ? I see Minisport and Avonbar sells a basic wedged crank on their site ?

I'm sure most of the people above could do the same or supply new steel etc.

Hi Stevie,

Minisport I heard quite bad things about them, someone else on this forum suggested minispares north. Up till now I contacted Keith Calver ans Southam Mini Metro Centre. The latter said that it might be a problem to dhip it over.

I tried contacting Carl at Force Racing, but I'm not getting any replies.

I would go force racing for a worked crank. Have you messaged carl via the force racing website?

SH Engineering is another option.
