Its been on the road for best part of 3 years I think I've done around 7k
No rust. As per the video there is some cracks on the front end, partly from being extended 20mm and the bonnet damage is where my dog knocked it over and then stomped on it.

The new owner can enjoy tinkering with a few small jobs - balljoint 're shim, maybe a wheel bearing (slight play for the past year plus) it could do with a new oil cooler (sits behind the number plate) as it leaks.
Other than that it just needs to be treated right as a turbo mini should.

It's always started and never overheated. Was rolling road tuned by atspeed racing on an omex ignition only ecu. Runs beautifully getting 42mpg on a run. Made 140bhp 160lbs with the old restrictive exhaust.
A turbo cam would probably unlock alot more horsepower.

The engine briefly is -
1293 with 21253 pistons
It's an mg metro head that I opened the ports up on and enlarged the chambers, we did measure the c.c but I can't for the life of me remember what it was. The CR is 9.1-1
Lightened verto flywheel was the infamous rts clutch -
I naively used two 1275 pressure plates so its not the lightest pedal but it's got a metro cable clutch arm modified to work with the slave.
Minispares Straight cut drop gears and full straight cut gearset.
Minispares Cross pin diff
Centre oil pickup
Gt17 turbo
Custom manifold and full exhaust
Renault 5 intercooler modified to fit perfectly
Capillary oil and water temp and oil pressure gauges

i would say you need way more pictures with asking for 9k

engine, floors, boot, interior... for 9k i'd want a VR experience :)

so based on that i dont think you want to sell it, its a bit off a half advert.

I agree. If I was a potential buyer I'd want much more detail on what I was getting for 9k. I'd want a full engine breakdown. What type of pistons, crank modified ? Rods ? What brand of gearbox, what diff ? Etc
"Worked head" means little. What are the valve sizes, chamber sizes, is it ported ?
How much work was done to the shell, what panels did you replace ? ...
You get the picture.

I think its a good ad cos itll sift thru the shithead dreamers! You wanna find out more details and pics you ask... like i said in ya other thread sorted turbominis dont come up often so its a good price and if ya after one n your serious he'll be there in person looking at it so ad is fine as is imo!

I totally agree, I did it whilst walking the dog this morning. I will improve it tonight. I just had to make a start and get something up, keep putting it off otherwise.

I think it's too much too, but I also think all classic cars are too expensive....and if house prices go up you don't sell your house at a recession price

And with nothing to go buy I'll start high and be prepared to negotiate...or put everyone off.

I sold my heavily modified turbo A35 for £10k.

The guy who bought it put it up for sale at £18k !!

So 8k for a decent turbo mini should be fair right? I might try again

Having seen your car in person i would say 7k should be easy to the right buyer.

I would try for more! 8 minimum id say!

BUT search on here a few weeks back someone abroad wanted to buy a all done turbo mini
