Anybody got reccomendations on a good fuel resistant garage floor paint?
Will be painted over existing floor paint and want it to last, the one that I'm currently looking at is the ronseal diamond hard paint.

Epoxy is the stuff to use, best to apply it in warmer weather though.

My advise would be, make sure the floor is well sealed at least two coats of selant. Paint in warm weather and only use two part epoxy paint.

If the floor is in-insulated and your going to be laying about on it, I'd consider the rubber tiles as an alternative

I have been looking at this over the last weeks,

After a chat with the paint shop, I have gone with a 2k paint I did look at the rubber tiles however the the price of them just was far to much !

It worked out at £90 and it's mixed to the colour I wanted.

I was recommended not to do anything to the floor first, just mop it out.

I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

Nothing is impossible it just costs more and takes longer.

Just make sure the concrete is not still too fresh simon. I'd make sure it has at least a month of curing under cover before putting a paint on it (i think uou will be fine now).

What paint are you using?

If its new concrete you will need to seal it first. They should sell you the primer.

It's not a good idea to polish it.

You want to seal it with paint. Stop dust getting up. Polished floor will also stop paint sticking in the future when you realise it's dusty.

I suppose i need to do this as it would make it easier to pick the dog shit up when he has an accident

And keep the dust down ......

The Dacrylate two part epoxy is a good product.
