First it says this:

"These suspension arms are designed as direct replacements for the heavy cast iron standard products."

Then it says this:

"They are designed to be used with coilover rear shock absorbers only"

So NOT a direct replacement then!!!

Plenty of people are making similar (lighter than KAD) rear radius arms, but only the KAD can be used with rubber donuts.

KAD doesn't reccomend the use of donuts in a 'road' application however though does it? I recall Jim saying this previously...

I don't know why it's not offered as an option at least - to have the knuckle mount that is...

I don't remember saying that dave, are you sure it was me?

I'm using kad arms, no problems so far, but they have not seen much track action yet. I have heard that they can bend on the track.

If you buy the arms off KAD you specify what size studs you want for the 'shock absorber' mounting.

You can have a bigger one for running coilovers.

Can't see why they wouldn't reccomend donuts for road use?

I guess making arms with the knuckle joint mount takes more thought. It's got to be pretty tough.

I think the KAD arms with the larger shick mouting are a different casting without the place for the nuckle joint

AH ,thats interesting ,
set up by "john kimmins" , i know this fella , he has had a few alloy bits off me in the past , nothing serious, but i will speek up for him and say when he made himself known to me at this years showdown , we had a chat and he does not only come across as ,but isindeed an intelegent and inovative person, so no bitching.
plus i like the look of the delta alloy arms myself , but bear in mind if they are not made from and welded with the correct alloy they will,be as soft as shit having had the nature of the allow ruined by the heat , and as it happens are almost identical to the ones i had designed in my head out of TI ,something that does not suffer property change when welded as alluminium alloys do.,

The lightweight radius arm kit (the hydro Ro suspension car you exclude) lightweight type of application normal ratio 1/3 for race/lace! The aluminum for race/lace to start shaving, the lightweight radius arm of argon welding and normal ratio 1/3. Furthermore high rigidity. For race/lace. The knuckle joint section uses the pyro ball. Ok, they're Lacing items... No good for a road car then *wink*

It also used the Pyro ball. I would not want any Pyro balls down there not far from the fuel lines.
