hi guys,

trying to bolt up my new gt17 turbo to my t3 turbo manifold, that had already been adapted to fit the t2 turbo. but already ran into a snag. on the flange that mates to the manifold there is one hole, that has no space for a bolt behind it. how did you guys get around this?

cheers

Take a die grinder and make a notch.
I also rotate the turbo slightly on the manifold; which I recall helps....

I was going to run a stud into the turbo and put the nut on the manifold side.

but on the manifold(t3 one) there is no place for the nut, it where one of the branches come out

You'll have to grind it to allow room as described above.
