What do (a-series) metros generally need to have done to improve the handling?

Rear ARB and front shocks helped on the upside down skip. Biggest single improvement was correctly inflated hydrogas cans, that weren't fucked, with the push rods cut down for a small drop - maybe 20mm lower. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Yep, and ditch the front are to bottom arm rubbers for ptfe or nylon ones.

I seem to recall JFs car had individual displacers not linked front to back. That made them rock hard. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

They are linked left-right on the rear of a-series cars. It's that link you cut.

My r100 has front dampers, individual canisters, large type rear droop spacers (I have an a series rear subframe in mine) soon to be turreted rear for dampers or have coilovers as well, classic mini alloy rear drums & hubs. Metro gti rear arb. Front rods not cut as it's mainly for drag 340psi front, 450 psi rear Drives

Is custodian of JF's car, I'll stick my head under it and get a full spec on what it has. I should really know after owning in for 4 years but didn't want to rush into it |

Sounds good, I'd love to see pics of the front and rear suspension, but also would to know castor, camber and toe if you are so inclined to get this logged (probably would be a usefull reference in case you had an "off" lol On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:
