I've got a bit of an issue with the carb on the metro. I noticed a fuel leak when i started it through the week. Having looked into it today, i've narrowed it down to the choke leaking, under load. I pulled the unit off the carb and the seals dont look right (they were new during the rebuild). I found another 'good' choke and tried that but still the same.

Now, when i rebuilt the carb, the screws for the choke sheared off annd i had to drill them out and use self tappers. I'm wondering if the screws have cracked the housing or are not holding the unnit in correctly.

Now of course it could simply be that the other seals are knackered.

Any suggestions?
