Hi guys

I have a reconned gt1752 and a Matty mirage style manifold and there are threads both in the turbo and the manifold and just wondered what's best to do ( which threads to drill out) seen as you guys have seen and done this before could anyone advise please cheers

I slotted the holes on the Turbo to fit it onto a T3 Manifold. Also had to shorten one of the studs as it fouled on the Turbo.

As long as you can get the nuts onto the flange on the manifold side, I'd go for drilling the manifold ones rather than the turbo. The GT17 needs grinding above the flange because it's too tight to get a nut on.

You drill out the threads on the turbo side and put the studs in the manifold
Then you can attach 3 out of 4 of the nuts bar one which requires the turbo to be ground out abit
Lots of meat there so nothing to worry about

Fantastic , I need some studs I think they are metric on the Matty manifold as they are the same as the gt17 many thanks chaps 😃
