Sorry lads, this one isn't mini related..

I want to switch between 2 different fuel tanks on a diesel car *wink*

Does anyone know where I can purchase 12v solonoids that will handle fuel.

A 3way one would be ideal, otherwise I need 2 solinoids.

Any cars down the scrappies use any thing suitable?

if its to use red diesel it is still ilegal to have it in your fuel system at all it is a 250 quid fine for that then another 250 quid fine iIf you DO use it on the road.. not saying it is for this but just so you do no i have looked into the laws of it *wink*

Not very sunny swanage

its called bio diesel..... there are a few places you can legitimately buy it from..... as you dont use your car much, it might pay you to carry the reciept with you from your fill up to prove that the duty is paid. that way, if theres ever a query, you can produce reasonable doubt.

bear in mind that it is very easy to detect a car on veggie oil, even easier than one on red!!!

smells like chips aparently lol.
we run our tractors at work on red and you cant tell apart from the clear fuel filters and if you look in the tanks no more smoke no smells other than stnd diesel. but like you say at least bio diesel is legal and if you have a receipt then you should be fine, also chances of getting a copper that actually knows what he is talking about is slim, the ones i talk to seem to know nothing.
