Mpi block oil return fitting

Right test fitted everything up using the camshaft position sensor hole and looks like it will flow relatively freely but it's a right pain to get the pipe on with the engine out of the car and I'm abit worried about getting it properly secured!
So thinking about alternatives and drilling into the gearbox and returning down there to save the hassle before it's an issue

Where do you guys fit them and where can I find a suitable fitting?

or what do you have to do to use the speedo drive?
