seeing as i work in a breakers yard i stripped a 2.0l meastro today. To my supprise it was the same as a mini engine but back to front with the gearbox on the side! it may b small but it purfectly formed

so i cudnt bolt a mini flywheel n box etc up to it? it may b small but it purfectly formed

Might have had a 2.0 badge on the back, but if it looked like a mini engine, it was a mere 1.3 maestro and nothing else. On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:

Its a similar block to a 1.3 mpi with a vw derived 5 spd box

no good in a mine, but often wondered if it would be possible to adapt them for use north-south in a midget or A35 etc..... And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers! |
