Hi all, I hope you will help a little on this topic.

I have a discussion on another webpage regarding the definition of Biturbo and twin turbo.

Is this video showing the definition of a Biturbo ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iL5lYWUSNPk

And what would you call a setup like this system =

Bi turbo is when you have a big and a small turbo, also you get compound turbos, where you have on blowing through the other to create higher boost levels

I'd agree with this. I've heard all the different names applied to all the different setups.

Twin turbos all look the same.
Compound turbos one blows into the other.
Bi turbos can go either way *wink*

imo bi turbo just means 2 turbos

with 2 turbos you can have them setup as parallel , sequential or compound
and just to confuse things there is a hybrid compound when usually you have sequentially spooled compounds that drop into a parallel system *happy* *happy*
