Probably a stupid question and probably has been asked before but I can't find it, so here goes.

Is it good practice to wire the fuel pump to the oil pressure switch or can you get away without i.e. will it flood the engine if the ignition is on without the engine running?

I've got an inertia cut off switch to go in so fuel cut off in the event of an incident is covered.

I said I'd do it, there's no need to remind me every 6 months!!
