I'm deciding on a colour for my MK3 rebuild (not my R1 racer but another). Can anyone confirm the paint code on this mini?

...is it Bedouin BLVC4 ???

The front half of the car on the first pic is a different colour to the rear anyway lol

The problem with looking at pics on the net is evey pic of the same colour will look different !

After a bit of research it looks like the darker shade is antelope, and the lighter shade is bedouin - & yeah that first car is patchy!!!

Going to go for Antelope *happy*

El paso beige is nice I like that - uber retro late 70's. The mini I have is a MKIV 1977, dry setup single tower bolts and originally blaze BLVC16 but i'm not a fan of the colour. Shell is bare now and almost ready for paint. It's going to be low on 10s, archless, chrome bumpers & sill strip.

It's tricky finding what colours were available on a mini in 1977. Ideally i'd like to paint it in a shade that was available. Unfortunately, it seems the colours are not great for that year. Don't really like harvest gold or limeflower & antelope I don't think was a '77 colour. Googling 1977 Mini 850 this pastelly green comes up which looks quite cool, not sure what colour it is or whether it's an original '77 colour though either *Confused*

Just checked - It's porcelain green, only available '59>68' *frown*

Inca yellow I think was an option. My first car was an Inca yellow clubby estate.
