hi guys,

i went to the rolling road yesterday and we couldnt get the car running properly :(

what happened was that we tried running the car up and it was going lean on boost under load, the needle is a BBD when change it to a BDL which is allot richer top end and still had the problem, the spring was also changed with no change.

next the fuel pressure was tested and all worked correctly (rising with boost)

the rolling road seems to think there is a problem with the supply of fuel, the pump setup i have atm (which i have no idea id its ok) is a feed going to the pump with a glass filter inline then the return T'd into it before the pump after the pump it goes straight to the FPR, is this the problem?

here is a pic just incase

or is this a case where the T piece trick would work?

thanks :)

Whilst not ideal that setup should work to get you started but I reckon the needle needs to be filed to get the AFR you need.

What sort of boost are you using ?

Only 7psi ATM, we have already change the needle and it made next to no difference :/

Ideally you need that return putting in the top of the tank ! And the general rule is the return needs to be a bigger pipe then the one that's supplying the fpr .
I carnt see you having needle problems at 7psi
