Received.

I need the composite log for the trigger wheel, the "tooth" one hasn't got enough detail.

From the data log, from the short attempts to start, I see the failure to synch but, on a positive note, I now see valid AFR readings.

This should be a simple configuration issue.

Re-run the tooth logger as "composite" for the attempt to start and re-email me the whole project file (like the way I said before) since you have changed it to microsquirt.

A post on the msextra forum reminded me of something. You don't mention it but make sure you are running resistor spark plugs. The non-resistor ones almost always cause noise issues especially on the tach input.

Cool,
Don't forget to email me a new export of the project file (since you changed it to cased microsquirt) at the same time. Export it and email the same way as last time, that way worked fine.

On the same note the suppressor that fitted to edis coiled fords that bolts to one of the tabs and connects to the centre coil wire close to the coil is important too.

Sorry for the slow reply guys, stupid Life getting in the way of Garage time *laughing*

Ill ping the Composite log accross later tonight

I swung by the scrappers and found a clock work dizzy and coil for £20 so that could be an option if all else fails.

On a dummy note, how do I tell if the Spark plugs are Resistor type? "EDIT" - (Look for an R in the Model Number)

Thanks again fellas!

Engine now runs on a Dizzy.

Ticks over pretty high so need to figure out where in the settings I can sort that.

Theres also the issue of the Manifold Glowing Orange on tickover :/

SUCCESS!

After much head scratching/swearing and a few cups of tea I manage to whittle down alot of my issues to a jammed open bloody IAC Valve!

Took the IAC off and jammed my finger in the hole *hehe!* It ran lovely.

So sorted that and it runs nice. I also went and bought the Full Software so hopefully that should make tuning easier. Ive also somehow managed to turn off the 2nd channel of the ECU again?? so running all injectors off 1 at the moment so need to suss out what ive manage to cock up. Im wondering if there is a continuity issue somewhere in my loom. Or ive manage to turn it off in the software somehow?

Thanks to everyone Rod and Rob especially!

Cheers chaps!
